Danznik Studios in Midtown! Our friends got married earlier this year and DAAAAZZLED us with their first dance. Initially we were just gonna box step and twirl, then call it a day for our first dance but that sold us to get lessons. 1.5 months later, our instructor Ruslan has us twirling around, doing 3 different lifts, and fun steps. We. Look. Incredible. Can't wait to shock our family with our sudden metamorphosis into ballroom dancers. Ruslan is also so friendly, super easygoing (will tailor the dance if you want it more chill or more fabulous), we truly look forward to our sessions. Worth the money!

Danznik is easily the most remarkable dance space/studio I have EVER worked in and with. The studio physical space is large, gorgeous, is kept spotless and well-managed. There is space free for private lessons whenever the studio is open, even when the entire studio is rented out! They have to run a business but are incredibly accommodating to their teachers, to clients rehearsing, and to private instructors. It is remarkably and truly an inclusive, supportive family. Flexible, they make things work whenever there is any issue. The staff is supportive, positive, and a quite literally a joy to work with. The management and owners are accessible, friendly, and deftly adapt to the ever changing market while continuing to offer core courses and support (to all us OGs) Thank you, Nikolai and John.

We took lessons at Danznik for our May 2022 wedding with Nikolai and it was an amazing experience! From the start, the whole Danznik team were so friendly and welcoming. Neither my husband nor I had any dancing experience, but we knew we wanted a dance to impress our family and friends at our wedding. Nikolai started with the basics for us - learning the basic box and steps. This was super helpful, and we left the first lesson surprised at how much we learned. Through our other 5 lessons, Nikolai choreographed the perfect dance for us. Simple and easy to remember, but with a handful of WOW moments with dips and ending with a lift! We had so much fun learning our dance with Nikolai. My husband didn’t know if he wanted to take lessons at the start, but it ended up being his favorite part of our wedding! We are so glad we went with Danznik and Nikolai to learn our first dance & highly recommend to all couples getting married!

The best dance studio in Manhattan where you can rent a shared or private space hourly. Great atmosphere, friendly people, beautiful space full of light.

Had a great time here! Everyone was very friendly and helpful! Went for a west coast swing beginner class and social after and it was a lot of fun! They also offer group classes and private lessons for different styles of dances. Highly recommend!

I started dancing WCS about 7 months ago, learning from Joe & Jes Ann. They are both great dancers and teachers in their unique ways. I have kept coming back and taking their lessons and group classes. The condition of the floor is very good. The space is sufficient for social parties. The staff is always friendly and resourceful. Best of all is the people I met here. Dancing is pure joy. You see smiles all the time.

I have enjoyed dancing at this studio for several years. The ballroom is very large and well maintained. All of the instructors are wonderful friendly professional dancers and you can find classes in almost any type of dance! The location is convenient near the Hawthorne train station and there are dance parties every Wednesday, and on some weekends. No partner necessary. All of the instructors are very patient and accommodating.

My friends and I had an incredible time at this dance studio. We were a group of friends visiting our one local friend who comes here every week. They asked if we could join them at this Intro to West Coast Swing class before the actual social dance itself. We all signed up and even those who hate dancing had a good time. It was very beginner friendly. Like most social dance intro classes, we were separated into a group of leaders and a group of followers. Our instructors lead us through different steps and movements. As a follower, it was easy to just follow the different leaders' guidance. In this class, they also really leaned into talking with your dance partner. We did some quick icebreakers with new partners before dancing. It was never too awkward because we would switch to a new partner pretty frequently. Because we came with our local friend, it wasn't too tough to find the studio. We entered a building and took the elevator to the dance studio. I highly recommend checking out Danznik Studios if you're interested in learning West Coast Swing.

This is an excellent dance studio. All the teachers are dedicated Professionals and skilled at instruction. There is much intense teaching as well as joyful laughter. A welcoming friendly Community.

Stunning studio, beautiful and clean. Amazing floors, sound system and tech are on point. The teachers are of a very high caliber. Some of the best teachers in New York teach here and if you're serious about your dancing or just want to have fun, this is the place to be! You will get to work with dance champions. Very personable staff and friendly environment. It's right next to the train station so convenient commute from Manhattan. Reasonable prices. Love this studio and I highly recommend!

What a great dancing experience! The instructor Josie for beginner's salsa is amazing, kind, warm and encouraging, as well as patient and informative. Eddie taught me my very first salsa class and helped me to properly learn the foundation steps and was very informative and knowledgeable in knowing many other dance styles. Nikolai helped me register for the first class and was very kind, warm, friendly and accommodating. I felt very welcomed. I would highly recommend this dance studio to others! They also teach other styles of dance such as bachata, tango, swing dancing and more!

Knowledgeable teachers and everyone is very friendly. I love Danznik Studios, and anyone who wants to dance should come here.

Danznik is unique in that it genuinely feels like a place that could be your own for however long your feet are on the dance floor! The owner Nikolai and all of the staff are very pleasant, and I hope to keep dancing in this queer-friendly, professional, and fun space. Highly recommend the Borough Ball events!

This is a friendly, warm, welcoming studio. Multiple ballrooms. Clean, well kept and organized. Sunday morning rounds with live DJ are a great chance to practice and improve on your dance.
