House of West – NYC’s Weekly West Coast Swing Party

Your weekly party starts here! Make friends and have fun at House of West, NYC’s weekly WCS social. Featuring rotating DJs every week, theme nights such as J&J Nights and Strictly Performance Nights, as well as an included 30-min intro to WCS crash course to get you prepared to have fun at the social. Come early for your leveled WCS class taught by Jes Ann or Dimitri, or just join the fun at the social. 

Schedule

• 6:30–7:30pm – Level 4 with Dimitri
• 7:00–8:00pm – Level 3 with Jes Ann
• 7:30–9:00pm – WSDC Int/Adv with Dimitri
• 8:00–9:00pm – Level 2 with Jes Ann
• 9:00–9:30pm – Intro to WCS
• 9:00–11:45pm – Social party featuring rotating DJs

Pricing

• $25 Social Dance / Intro Class 
• $15 Social for verified college students
• $30 Class (or 1 DanzPass)

New to WCS? Join us at 8:30pm for an intro class taught by community members, and then practice your new moves at the social party! (The social party is included with your Intro Class purchase).

West Coast Swing (WCS), sometimes called Modern Swing, is a popular partner dance that can be danced to a variety of musical styles and genres. It allows for improvisation and is loved by dancers all around the world.
