About Dimitri Hector
Dimitri began his dance journey in Ithaca, New York, focusing on Lindy Hop, vernacular jazz, and West Coast Swing. From this early training, he expanded his repertoire to include ballet, modern, contemporary, and ballroom styles. Currently, Dimitri is a highly skilled West Coast Swing competitor and teacher, and a freelance classical dance artist. He brings a wealth of experience and expertise to both the dance floor and the classroom. With a compassionate approach and a fun-loving atmosphere, Dimitri fosters an environment where dancers of all levels can thrive and grow in their artistic journeys.

How much is a private lesson with Dimitri?
A 45-minute Social Style lesson is $135. Lesson packs lower the price: 4 lessons are $500 and 12 lessons are $1,500 for members. See Social Style lesson pricing.
Where does Dimitri teach?
Dimitri teaches at our NYC studio (240 W 37th St, 2nd Floor, New York).
Do I need a partner?
No. Come on your own or bring a partner. You can share a single lesson with one other person.
I'm new to Danznik. Can I start with Dimitri?
Yes. The $99 Intro Package includes an introductory private lesson, one group class, and a 6-month Danznik Membership. Ask for Dimitri when you schedule, or we can match you with an instructor based on your interests.
