Ivan Prymak

Ivan Prymak began dancing at age 4 in Ukraine, where he became a multiple-time medalist and finalist at national championships. He holds a degree in choreography from a specialized choreographic college, followed by a bachelor’s degree from university, giving him a strong academic and artistic foundation in dance. Ivan and his partner, Daria Baranko, have been dancing together since 2018, performing and choreographing internationally across multiple styles. While building their partnership, they also trained with renowned coaches and choreographers, further sharpening their technical and performance skills.

He and Daria are multiple-time finalists and top placement winners in the Cabaret and Closed Smooth categories, bringing specialized expertise in lifts, tricks, partnering, and performance technique to their teaching. In addition to competitive work, he also participated in and choreographed performances for charity events in New York City.

Ivan spent 2.5 years teaching at Fred Astaire Dance Studios Mount Kisco, where he led students to top placements in Championships and Scholarships in American Rhythm and American Smooth.
Known for his discipline and dedication to the craft, Ivan combines strong technical fundamentals with an engaging and supportive teaching style that helps students progress with confidence.
