Daria Baranko

Daria Baranko began dancing at age 6 and graduated with honors from a College of Culture and Arts with a specialization in choreography, later earning a Master’s degree in the same field. With a strong academic and artistic background, she has performed at international and European concerts and has worked as a choreographer and producer on international contracts — creating and staging original repertoire rather than only competing in it.

Since 2018, Daria has been dancing, performing, and choreographing alongside her partner Ivan Prymak, continuously expanding her artistic range while training with renowned coaches and choreographers. In addition to competitive and performance work, she has also created choreography for charity events in New York City.

Together with Ivan, she is a multiple-time finalist and top placement winner in the American Closed Smooth and Cabaret categories, bringing extensive expertise in choreography, partnering technique, lifts, tricks, and performance quality to her teaching.

Daria spent 2.5 years teaching at Fred Astaire Dance Studios Mount Kisco, where she guided students to finals and top placements at Championships in multiple categories. Students under her instruction also achieved Top Student recognition at competition events.

Known for her strong work ethic, creativity, and attention to detail, Daria combines deep technical knowledge with a warm and encouraging teaching style that helps students stay motivated, confident, and connected to their dance journey.
