Anton Domansky is a champion Professional Ballroom and Latin dancer with over 25 years of competitive and show dance experience. Originally from Ukraine, he has been dancing since he was 8. After winning the Ukrainian National Youth Championship at 16, he went on to study with the world’s top teachers in London and Italy. Since immigrating to the US in 2001, he has won multiple US National Youth Ballroom and 10-dance championship titles and represented the US in three World Championships. After his first trip to Buenos Aires, Anton fell in love with Argentine Tango; 10 years later, he is US National Argentine Stage Tango Champion.

Anton currently competes in both professional and pro-am divisions and performs with his students throughout the tri-state area. He also enjoys coaching ballroom couples, working with children, and volunteering as a dance mentor.

As an instructor, Anton teaches both social and competitive styles. Taking a holistic approach to dancing, he helps students develop their full potential by moving in a way that is natural for the body. He has been studying the Feldenkrais Method, incorporating advanced bodywork and awareness of movement into his teaching.

I have been taking Argentine Tango classes with Anton Domansky and combination Smooth and Rhythm classes with Brook Diamond. Both Anton and Brook are excellent teachers, guiding with their vast knowledge and warm sense of humor. Also, I attend Brook’s once a month Sunday Social, which is lots of fun dancing to DJ Antonio’s wonderful variety of music. For the first time, I recently attended La Practilonga, hosted by Carolina Juarena - very welcoming, instructive and fun. I certainly recommend Danznik for excellent instruction and fun social events!

We took wedding dance lessons with Anton and he is genuinely the best! He was able to choreograph based on our music and include any moved I have seen and liked. I am so happy with how our first dance turned out and would recommend this studio to every couple!

Danznik Studios in Midtown! Our friends got married earlier this year and DAAAAZZLED us with their first dance. Initially we were just gonna box step and twirl, then call it a day for our first dance but that sold us to get lessons. 1.5 months later, our instructor Ruslan has us twirling around, doing 3 different lifts, and fun steps. We. Look. Incredible. Can't wait to shock our family with our sudden metamorphosis into ballroom dancers. Ruslan is also so friendly, super easygoing (will tailor the dance if you want it more chill or more fabulous), we truly look forward to our sessions. Worth the money!

This is a high level studio! I have been training sll my life and with other studios like Dancesport and You should be dancing, Pierre Dulaine, and others. I have startted again after years becsuse I have been so inspired by these people. My whole life has changed because i believe again. Super teachers like Anton, Tatiana, Nikolai,Sonia ...you will not meet better and their encouragement has meant everything to me! New York ! Try this studio!

I came to this studio without knowing anyone as I have been at so many studios from Montreal to NYC and studying ballroom and salsa competition and performance after dancing for so long. I met Anton Domansky at Danznik by chance and his determination to be great has changed my whole life. I want to dance all the time! His compassionate teaching along with rigorous training and a willingness to be a team keeps me going and even though I was injured he also knows about bodies changing and is patient. He is one of the most dedicated people on the planet and a beautiful Argentine Tango teacher (his favorite). Studying with him has been such a joy to date. I cant say enough about Anton! Join their team especially Anton!

We didn't have any prior dancing experience and wanted to do more than just sway for our first dance at our wedding. Danznik matched us with our instructor Anton who was awesome! He's an extremely talented dancer and a kind and patient teacher who taught us the basics and put together a nice choreographed number for our song. We had a lot of fun practicing, and he even provided feedback on the practice videos we sent him. He made us feel at ease to be on the center stage and most importantly have fun! The studio is also beautiful. Highly recommend Danznik and Anton!

We had an amazing time getting dance lessons from Danznik Studios to prepare us for our wedding. Our instructor Anton was amazing! He had been picked for us by the staff to be the best match for our first dance song, and he was completely involved and enthusiastic as he taught us dance moves catered to our song and venue. Practicing these joyous the dance moves at home was a daily relief from other wedding planning stress. The first dance was a hit, with several people telling us afterward how surprised they were by our dance. The studio is beautiful and spacious and there was never a time we didn't have a private room and the staff made us feel so welcomed. We could not recommend Anton and Danznik studios more for wedding dance planning!!
