What to Expect in Your First Class
Before Class
- Wear clothes and shoes you can easily move in
- Arrive 10–15 minutes early to check in
- No partner required, unless otherwise noted
- No prior dance experience assumed
During Class
- Typically 60 minutes of guided instruction
- Everyone rotates and dances with each other
- Starts with basics steps and concepts and builds gradually
- Friendly, patient instructors who demonstrate clearly
