Join us for Brazilian Zouk classes on Thursday nights! For first-timers and growing dancers, these classes are designed to support connection, musicality, and technique, all in a welcoming and fun environment.

Brazilian Zouk Foundations – Thursdays 7:30pm

Level 1 / Beginner (NEXT 4-week series starts June 4)

Start your Zouk journey here! This beginner-friendly class is perfect for those new to Brazilian Zouk or looking to reinforce their fundamentals. Each monthly series focuses on core footwork, body movement, and connection — helping you build a strong technical foundation in a supportive, fun environment.

No partner or experience needed.

Our learning recommendation is to complete a full month of (Level 1) Foundations before moving into Beyond Foundations.

Brazilian Zouk Beyond Foundations 2.0 – Thursdays 6:30pm

Level 2 / Advanced Beginner

Take your Zouk to the next level. This course is for dancers who have a solid grasp of the basics and are ready to expand their skills. Each week, we’ll explore new variations, refine technique, and deepen your understanding of connection, flow, and musicality.

You’ll build on foundational movements and learn to move with more expression, control, and creativity.

Prerequisite: Comfortable with timing and connection, plus the ability to lead or follow these core movements: Basic Step, Viradinha, Lateral, Simple Turn, Soltinho.

Zouk Practice Session – Thursdays 8:30pm

All Levels

Stay after class to dance, connect, and reinforce what you’ve learned. This 30-minute open practice is a great space to explore material at your own pace. Optional instructor feedback is available for those who want guidance.

What is Brazilian Zouk?

Zouk is a partner dance style that evolved from Lambada in Brazil, and can be instantly recognized by the creative patterns and characteristic head movement. Since its inception, Zouk has continued to evolve and take inspiration from many other styles and is quickly growing to become one of the most popular partner dances in the United States.
