Class Description
Intro to Lindy Hop – Tuesdays 9:00pm
Join us for a fun 30-minute intro class for beginners to quickly become comfortable with the connection and basic movements of Lindy Hop. The goal of this class is to enable students to join in and enjoy dancing at our social, while still focusing on the fundamental techniques necessary for further study into more advanced movements.

What is Lindy Hop?
Lindy Hop, the original swing dance, is a social dance that originated in the 1920s–40s at the Savoy Ballroom in Harlem, New York. Improvisational, playful, and highly rhythmic, this dance is defined by music of the Big Band era including Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Ella Fitzgerald, and Benny Goodman.
