Latin Fit – Dance Fitness with Sergey Volkov
Build endurance, coordination, and lower-body strength through a dynamic mix of Latin dance and aerobic exercises, led by International Latin professional Sergey Volkov.
All levels welcome. Some Latin dance experience is helpful but not required.
We begin with a International Rumba-inspired warm-up focused on controlled movement and muscle activation.
From there, we progress through:
• International Cha Cha – fast footwork and arm coordination
• International Samba – knee-driven movement with rhythmic variation
• International Jive – high-intensity drills to build stamina
We finish with a full-body stretch to cool down and recover.
WHAT IS INTERNATIONAL LATIN
International Latin is a bold, rhythm-driven dance style that celebrates precision, power, and expression. Danced to upbeat, percussive music, it features sharp footwork, grounded movement, and strong partner dynamics. Each of its five dances brings a unique energy—from the playful syncopation of Cha Cha to the intense storytelling of Paso Doble. With a focus on rhythm, presence, and body action, International Latin invites dancers to push their physicality while channeling musical expression through movement.
Meet the Hosts

Sergey Volkov is a seasoned ballroom dancer and choreographer currently based in New York City. He began dancing at the age of six and graduated from the Institute of Culture in 1998. In 2004, he became the Israeli Champion in Latin American dance and has represented Israel at international competitions...
