Sam Vaden

Sam Vaden has been immersed in West Coast Swing for over 10 years and currently competes at the All-Star level. He’s achieved notable success in Rising Star events—most recently winning at DCSX 2024 with Elli Warner, and earning titles at major festivals like MADjam 2024.

By day, Sam is a data scientist deeply engaged in code. On the dance floor, he thrives on creativity, musicality, and genuine connection. He regularly takes the All-Star stage, including striking improv performances with partners such as Marie‑Pascale Côté, Victoria Henk, and Phoenix Grey—available to watch online.
