Carolina Jaurena

Carolina Jaurena is an internationally acclaimed Argentine tango dancer, choreographer, and instructor with over two decades of experience. Her dynamic career includes a featured role in Sidney Pollack’s film Random Hearts and performances at esteemed venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and Teatro Solís in Uruguay. She has starred in productions like Tanguero, Tango! Soul and Heart, Tango House, and Tango Untangled, and has been a prominent performer at New York’s Thalia Spanish Theater.​

Carolina has conducted workshops and performed internationally, including at the Canarias Tango Festival in Spain, Landesakademie in Germany, and various festivals across the U.S. She has been a key member of the Cuartetango Music & Dance ensemble since 2009 and has collaborated with the Camarada Tango Quartet. Renowned for her precision, artistry, and charisma, Carolina continues to inspire audiences and students worldwide.
