Motley Hue Fusion
Friday, May 3, 2024. This is the first evening of our large national fusion festival in New York City!
Fusion dancers use the many genres of partner dance to create personal, improvisational expressions of music. We are explorers of movement, connection & music. We are investigators and creators.
Our community is built on respect, the willingness to say “yes” to new ideas, and the freedom to color outside the lines of traditional partner dancing. Each new dance is an entire experience unto itself. The music we play is modern and will cover an array of styles, tempos, and rhythms that you may or may not have ever danced to before. From downtempo electronica to soul to pop to latin grooves, you can find it all.
