This class welcomes dancers of all skill levels and offers instruction in traditional Flamenco techniques, including arms, footwork, and body coordination. The curriculum centers on mastering Buleria (12-count rhythm) and por Tangos (8-count rhythm). Additionally, dancers can refine and expand their Paso Doble repertoire through the incorporation of traditional postures, footwork, and arm movements. Traditional Flamenco shoes are not required for participation.

Momchil “Monito” Gotchev began his dance journey at age 12 and immersed himself in Flamenco studies in 1999. He has trained under renowned teachers globally and in Spain, such as Farouqito, Omayra Amaya, Pedro Cortes, Jose Moreno, and Pedro Cordoba, among others. Monito has cultivated a distinct yet traditional approach to Flamenco movement and rhythm. He earned first place in the Flamenco Settlement USA in both 2020 and 2021 and has performed at the prestigious Lincoln Center. Monito continues to advance his studies in Spain and graces the stages of multiple renowned venues.
